Heart of a Seeker
The psalmist, David, was considered "a man after God's heart." David was an adulterer and a murderer who struggled with anxiety and depression yet, he was still called "a man after God's own heart." Meaning even in the midst of David's struggle he still sought God showing us God desires our hearts and seeking his. I believe we should be men and women seeking the heart of God daily and allowing His love to transform us.

The Heart's Condition. “...He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
One of my Pastor’s once said. "If you were in jail how would you bail your fellow cellmate out?" If you are still in captivity and incarcerated to your old habits and ways of thinking how could you ever bring hope to someone else going through the same thing?” The Lord wants to restore us and release us from darkness so we can help others who are still prisoners.
